The former Manchester United midfielder has been playing with a knee injury for the past two months.
He told Fyen Stiftstidende: “I have been playing with a knee injury for two months. It is nothing big, but it requires surgery.
If Odense secure second place when they face FCK on Wednesday, Djemba-Djemba will go under the knife.
He added: “If we secure second place after the FCK game, I will go under the knife. It is only a minor surgery.”
