Foster is on-loan at Watford until the end of this season.
He said: “The past couple of years have been brilliant because I’ve played regular first-team football so it would be very difficult to go back to being on the bench.
“I am ambitious, I want to achieve things and be the No.1 goalkeeper wherever I am.”
