Gudmundsson could sell West Ham

His vice chairman Ausgeir Fridgeirsson has revealed that Gudmundsson could sell the club, despite previously insisting he would not sell.

“He is evaluating all of his business interests, including West Ham,” Fridgeirsson told BBC Sport.

“West Ham is a well-run club with no debt and is one of Mr Gudmundsson’s most important investments.”

Gudmundsson, who has been severely hit by the credit crunch, bought the Hammers for £85million in November 2006.
