The 30-year-old’s current contract is set to expire int he summer.
“I spoke to the manager two weeks ago and hopefully I will be speaking to him over the next week or so and see what happens from there,” Miller told the Daily Record.
“I’ve told him I want to stay and hopefully we can do something. I definitely want to stay because I can see positive signs here.
“There are a lot of very good young lads with plenty of talent. The manager is mixing all the players together – young and old – and with the experience we are gaining together that can only do us good for next year.”
