Chivu’s wife claims the Romanian defender “will go to Real Madrid if Jose Mourinho asks him to”.
“This is football,” Adelina Chivu told Romanian magazine One. “If Mourinho wants him, then we will all have to move to Madrid.
“We don’t have a proper home in the true sense of the word. We bought this apartment in Milan two years ago, but I never thought it was our definitive home.
“At the end of Cristi’s career we will probably return to Romania, but while he’s still playing that won’t be possible.”
