Macheda has been linked with clubs such as Real Sociedad, Palermo and Inter Milan in recent weeks but his agent Giovanni Bia insists the youngster plans to stay at Old Trafford.
“All the voices that have been going around are false,” the agent told Calcionews24.com.
“Federico is held in incredible esteem by Manchester United and so he will not go, in fact he cannot wait for the new season.
“I hope he does even better this year and I am sure people will continue speaking about him.”
