Banega has been a hit for Valencia this season in the La Liga.
The 21-year-old nearly joined Everton on loan last summer.
The Argentine ace is rated at around £20milllion.
Agent Marcelo Simonian said: “It is not rare that English clubs ask after Banega.
“At the moment he wants to finish the season with Valencia and then see where he goes from there.”
