The Mirror reports that United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is sending his top scout to watch De Marcos in action for Bilbao against Sporting Lisbon in the Europa League on Thursday.
De Marcos is reportedly on the top of United’s wish list for the summer.
United believe De Marcos is ideal for their midfield. The Bilbao star was stunning for his side against United in the Europa League earlier this season.
