Silvestre suffered a ligament damage in his knee during the 1-0 win against Everton at Goodison Park today.
“We will send him for a scan now, but it didn’t look good to me,” said United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
“Our medical people are looking at it now. It looks like it’s his knee that is hurt.
“We’re getting a few (injuries) at the moment, but we will just have to get on with it.”
