Fenerbahce have reportedly made a bid of around £7million for Manchester United striker Anthony Martial.

The bid comes as reports have suggested that Martial will leave United in the January transfer window, as part of a major clear-out at Old Trafford.

Martial, who joined United in 2015 for around £60 million and has since scored 90 goals for the club, finds his future uncertain as his contract is set to expire soon, with only an option to extend for another year.

Turkish outlet Takvim reports that Fenerbahce are confident that United could accept their opening bid of around £7million.

Fenerbahce’s bid, although seemingly modest, is strategically placed, considering Martial’s contract situation and the reportedly good relationship established between the clubs following Fred’s transfer to Fenerbahce.

This potential transfer is seen as a chance for Martial to reinvent his career, especially with Fenerbahce aiming to offload Batshuayi.
