Rooney is struggling with an ankle injury and United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed the striker will be out of action for another five weeks.
“I think Wayne Rooney will be out for another five weeks,” he said.
“He’ll have to pick up his fitness again. I would think five weeks should be about right.”
