Man Utd striker in Mexico squad

New Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez are among the players who were included in the squad.

Midfielder Jonathan dos Santos and defenders Carlos Valenzuela and Adrian Aldrete are those who was removed from his provisional squad of 26.

Barcelona youngster Dos Santos missed the cut after suffering a musle tear while training with the Spanish giants last month and failing to get fit in time for the World Cup.

A statement from the Mexico football federation on Monday said: “The Barcelona player Jonathan dos Santos has been removed from the squad and will not participate at the World Cup.”
