Maicon has been linked with Real Madrid and Manchester United in recent months.
“It is practically a done deal,” declared agent Antonio Caliendo on Calcionews24.net.
“It is basically what we expected and Inter paid special attention to his needs.”
The new contract will keep Maicon at the club until 2014.
