Miccoli joined Palermo from Benfica last summer and signed a contract until 2010.
“Did I think about a renewal? Not actually, and neither did my representative,” the 29-year-old told TV show ‘Sotto l’erba’.
“Aside from this one, I still have another season left on my contracr and we need to see what Palermo intend to do.
“I have a marvellous rapport with the president and if he is willing to start talks next January, I am ready to listen. I frequently speak with him on the phone, he has proved that he greatly counts on me and I truly owe him, as he was the one that brought me here.”
