Cantini’s agent revealed to TuttoNapoli.net that they only need Napoli’s approval for the deal to be completed.
“We just need Napoli’s approval,” said agent Pino Letterio.
“We have fully agreed on this destination. Negotiations are at an advanced stage and I will have a decisive meeting with [Napoli director of sport Riccardo] Bigon shortly.
“Negotiations with the Spanish club have been completed. But perhaps Napoli want to evaluate their injury situation before giving the go-ahead.
“Zaragoza were an option we considered very seriously. Matteo had also received offers from Standard Liege and Scottish side Celtic.
“But the player is a serious professional and is only focused on the match with Livorno for the time being. The two clubs have yet to sort out a few details.”
