O’Neill delighted with win over Bolton

“Naturally I’m delighted to have won the game,” he told Sky Sports. “Eventually it seemed quite convincing, but try telling that to anybody in the ground after 20-odd minutes of the game.

“We found ourselves a goal behind. There was the possibility of going two behind, but there’s something now about the side at the moment. Obviously we’ll try eradicate that as best we can. It’s still part of our game, but when we get forward and go we’re an absolute joy to watch.

“We’ve scored four today, that’s seven in two games recently. I supposed it makes up for a couple of goalless draws we’ve had here at Villa Park, but I’m delighted.

“Delighted to have won and delighted that we’ve fought back once again in a game. I’m pleased to have beaten Bolton because this was a very difficult fixture for us.

“Agbonlahor comes up with a wonderful equaliser and I felt from that moment onwards we really started to gain control of the game.”
