The Greek giants have watched the Moroccan forward in action and is keen on signing him this summer.
Hamdaoui has scored 21 goals in 29 league appearances for AZ this season and his contract keeps him at the club until 2012.
It is believed the 24-year-old would cost any interested club around €12million.
