French giants Paris Saint-Germain have failed with their attempt to convince Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund to join the club this summer.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that PSG offered the Danish international a higher wage than United have, but the striker is fully focused on securing a move to Old Trafford.

The 20-year-old has been linked with a move to United all summer and is regarded as their top target when it comes to strengthen their options up front this summer.

Reports have suggested that Hojlund have agreed personal terms with United, but the two club’s are yet to agree on a transfer fee, with Atalanta putting a £80millin price tag on the striker.
