It is believed the United striker will only miss the Premiership clash with Blackburn on Saturday. But he will be ready for England’s qualifiers with Kazakhstand and Belarus.
The 22-year-old star picked upan ankle injury during United’s clash with Aalborg on Tuesday.
A club spokesman said: “Wayne has an ankle injury and is considered doubtful for Blackburn.
“But he should recover in time for England’s forthcoming matches on October 11 and 15.”
