Mantovani’s agent, Graziano Battistini claims the the two clubs are interested in signing his 26-year-old client.
He told TMW: “I can confirm that Sampdoria and Napoli are interested in Andrea.
“However, until those clubs get rid of players in Mantovani’s position, then it will be difficult for a move to be finalised.
“Nevertheless, I do believe that Chievo are ready to listen to any offers which may be made for him.”
