Tottenham are reportedly ready to join the race for Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney.

Hackney made his England U21 debut in September and has become a key player for Middlesbrough.

His performances in Michael Carrick’s side this season has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool, according to the Standard.

Spurs are expected to join the race, but all clubs will need to wait until the summer as Middlesbrough are not prepared to sell in January, unless an massive offer comes in for him.
