Pulis admits he was happy to see side recover from their defeat to Manchester United.
“You have got to show passion and belief here because they can play football,” said Pulis. “You have to stand firm and we have done that today.”
He added: “We’ve done smashing. I am very, very pleased with the lads after the Man Utd performance. I thought we were a little bit insipid but they’ve bounced back and they’ve worked hard.
“Our away form, we’ve really worked hard at that this year and it’s a better performance again.”
