Futbolmercado claims the Spanish giants is interested in bringing in Voronin as a replacement for David Villa, who could leave the club at the end of the season.
Valencia are struggling with financial troubles and could be forced to sell several of their best players.
Voronin is currently on a season-long loan at Hertha from Liverpool and there have been talks over a permanent move.
“We have had a number of enquiries but I don’t want to comment,” explained Voronin’s advisor Andrei Golowasch to Bild.
“We have had a very positive discussion with Hertha. Now we need a concrete decision. Perhaps there will be something new in the next few weeks.”
