Vidic admits Man Utd were outplayed by Barcelona

Barcelona won the Champions League after beating Manchester United 3-1 in the final at Wembley.

“They played very well,” he told Sky Sports. “They had more chances than we did and we have to hold up our hands up and say they were better than us.

“When you get to this point, obviously you want to win and you feel really disappointed when you don’t win. But we played good football.”

Barcelona lifted the European Cup for the fourth time after goals from Pedro, Lionel Messi and David Villa.

England international Wayne Rooney had earlier equalised for Manchester United in a thrilling match in London on Saturday evening.
