Vidic eyes improvement

The 27-year-old admits they were not at their best in the 2-0 win over Italian champions Inter last night.

“We need to forget Inter now,” said Vidic.

“Liverpool is the next big game we must play and they are in good form, full of confidence. They had a great win against Madrid.

“But we’re at home in front of our crowd and, I think, I hope we are going to be much better than we were against Inter.

“We will definitely try to improve, to erase the mistakes we made and play better against Liverpool.”

“I don’t like to say. If we win we will be 10 points in front of them, but I don’t like to think that far,” he added.
