Wenger hope his side can stretch their six-match unbeaten run.
He said: “We have got away with our poor start to the season.
“But now we cannot drop any more points because all the other teams at the top look to have picked up the pace. Like us, Chelsea and Manchester United dropped points early on.
“But if you look at the results over the weekend the top teams are all winning again.
“A win in Moscow would leave us with nine points from three games and be a big step towards securing our place in the next round.
“It seems to me the quality of our performance is back. Now it is all down to our consistency.”
