Zigic believes Jovanovic cna manage to make the step up from Standard Liege to La Liga.
“I heard of the interest and was tempted to call him but I wanted to wait and talk to him in person during this time with the national side,” Zigic was quoted as saying by Super Deporte.
“Milan is a good footballer, a player with an eye for goal, with a lot of presence in the final third. He is a pure centre-forward with a similar style to [Juan] Mata. He can play on the left wing and creates great danger supporting the main striker.”
“He is able to make the jump to this league, an if he doesn’t move to Spain, Italy or England before [next summer] it is because his club is asking for a lot of money for the transfer,” Zigic remarked.
