Benitez believes United will use the £80million they got from the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid this summer.
“I am sure they will have money and they will buy some players,” said the Liverpool boss when asked about United.
United have already signed Antonio Valencia, Gabriel Obertan and Michael Owen this summer.
