The trio are suffering from niggling injuries.
Fergie said: “Giggs, Ferdinand and Vidic are doubts.
“Vidic has been troubled by a calf injury for a few weeks and has seen a specialist.
“Both him and Ferdinand are keen to play after the Liverpool result, so we’ll have to see how they respond today.”
Darren Fletcher is expected to be fit to face Chelsea next month, while Ji-Sung Park remain sidelined.
Ferguson added: “Fletcher should be fine with a bit more training, so he should be OK for Chelsea.
“Park came back from international duty with a knee problem. It’s a bit of a mystery as to what’s wrong at the minute and he could be out for at least a couple of weeks.”
