Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek is closing in on a move away from Manchester United.

Van de Beek has failed to make the expected impact at Old Trafford since joining from Ajax in a £35million deal.

The Dutchman spent time on loan at Everton last season.

Reports in recent days have suggested that Van de Beek was set to join French side Lorient, but those rumors have been quashed.

The midfielder now looks set to join Turkish giants Galatasaray and talks between the two club’s are expected to be completed before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Manchester United have been linked with a number of players in recent weeks as they look to strengthen their midfield. But progress have finally been made in their attempt to sign Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina.
