Manchester United’s owners, the Glazer family, are set to take the club off the market.

The Daily Mail reports that the Glazers will take the club off the market after failing to secure the asking price they wanted to sell the club.

The report claim that the owners have been ‘holding out’ for an whopping £10bn fee.

The Glazers were hoping to set off a bidding war when they release the statement that they were considering selling the club, back in November last year.

But only Sheikh Jassim of Qatar and Sir Jim Ratcliffe made bids for the club.

The report claim the Glazers will considering selling the club again in 2025, with higher TV revenue and an expanded Club World Cup potentially triggering more bidders.

United have been spending big on new signings this summer, something that has also lead to an increase in their loans.
