The summer transfer window 2025 is heating up as Premier League clubs continue to make bold moves to strengthen their squads. With the transfer window 2025 still open, several big-money signings and headline-grabbing exits have already made waves.
Arsenal have been among the most active, spending heavily to bring in Viktor Gyokeres (£55m), Noni Madueke (£48.5m), and Martin Zubimendi (£60m). The Gunners have also added Christian Norgaard, Kepa Arrizabalaga, and Cristhian Mosquera, while parting ways with Kieran Tierney, Thomas Partey, and Takehiro Tomiyasu.
Manchester United made a major statement, securing Bryan Mbeumo for £65m, Matheus Cunha for £62.5m and Benjamin Sesko for £73.6m. Diego Leon and Enzo Kaya-Biyik also joined, as the club moved on from Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelöf.
Chelsea continued their youth revolution, bringing in Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Jorrel Hato, and Estevao. Outgoings include Noni Madueke (Arsenal), Djordje Petrovic (Bournemouth), and Joao Felix (Al-Nassr).
Liverpool broke the bank to sign Florian Wirtz for £100m and Hugo Ekitike for £69m. They also added Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez, but sold Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich and Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid.
Tottenham added firepower with Mohammed Kudus (£55m), Mathys Tel (£30m), and Kevin Danso. Meanwhile, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg joined Marseille.
Elsewhere in the 2025 summer transfer window, Brentford sold star man Bryan Mbeumo and brought in veteran Jordan Henderson. Bournemouth, Burnley, Brighton, and Wolves have also been busy reshaping their squads.
Surprisingly, Championship side Sunderland have spent big – landing Granit Xhaka, Enzo Le Fee, and Habib Diarra – emerging as one of the transfer window 2025’s most ambitious movers.
